If you are having trouble starting your Explorer on a cold morning, the engine stalls at idle or stalls when shifting gears, you may need to replace the idle air control (engine) valve. Motorcraft CX-1771 is a direct link to an OEM part that you can find on the Ford Parts website. There are a few aftermarket manufacturers out there, but you won't get a genuine OEM part at Revain's price. This part is easy for DIY to change. To remove and install the new servomotor, you need a torx wrench and two more sockets. My Explorer: 2003 V6 4.0L Flex
