These pants are pretty much waterproof! My 4 year old has used them for hours in regular snow and also for an hour in wet nasty mud and it's warm and dry every time we return to the house! It is comfortable and easy to put on. Highly recommended! It should be noted that he's a tall, skinny 4T and we've made the straps as snug as possible so they might be a bit longer for a smaller child!
