I bought a larger model due to size, price and picture. The illustrations show a thick steel door with widely spaced latch pins at the top and bottom of the door. When I bought the same, Revane suggested I buy 2 fireproof envelopes for storing documents, which I did. Fun Fact: The larger of the two envelopes (which fits an 8.5 x 11 flat document) doesn't fit in this safe, so you'll either have to fold it or remove the shelf entirely. - do not recommend. I digress - the pictures of the safe don't match what came in the box, but at the end of the day it's a good value safe so you get what you pay for. There's definitely a cheap feel to it, and you'll notice that as you work with the lock. If you are looking for a quality safe for large items I would not recommend this one. That being said, if you're looking to store multiple items and are looking for a safe on a budget, I don't see how you can go wrong. However, be aware that the photos of this safe do not match what you will receive as other reviews indicate.
