Great value 21mm lens for Leica

I am currently selling this lens in favor of the Zeiss 18mm f/4 but I still have a very high opinion of it. very sharp. Center sharpness is excellent even with the aperture wide open at f/4. At f/8 the sharpness across the image is comparable to a 21mm Summilux (which I rented) on a 13x19" print from my Canon PIXMA Pro-100. In contrast to the Summilux, there are practically no violet color fringes. Colored scope. It has great build quality, a small built-in lens hood, and regular 39mm filters. The minimum focusing distance is only 0.5 m. And now for the bad: It has less edge sharpness than Leica lenses. - noticeable at high magnification up close on screen or on large prints - color shift and vignetting not automatically corrected by the camera Note that you're using the 21mm f/2.8 code for pretty decent results or you can use a third party solution (Plugin Adobe Lightroom Flat Field or Cornfix) for the perfect correction. I use Adobe's Lightroom plugin and it fixes these issues the same way the camera fixes them for my Leica lenses. Conclusion: A 21mm lens is highly recommended for the money.
