Fiction! - Camera and photo

Fantastically sharp lens. Very nicely designed and ergonomic aperture and focus knobs. Of course, it surpasses Leica lenses in price and quality.

Razor sharp lens is the best among camera lenses

It exceeded all my expectations which were high given the high ratings others have given this lens. This is an accurate and sharp lens. Exceptional quality.

Not the best, but the best for the price and size!

This is not the best 21mm lens available but definitely the best size and price! Throw it in your camera bag and you'll hardly notice. I also didn't like Voigtlander's fixed, non-removable lens hood, in addition to the fact that this lens is much larger and heavier. The bottom line is that I don't need to take pictures with such a focal length. faster than f4, and the low cost of this tiny lens means little risk if I don't like the way it delivers images. So far I like how it works. Yes, there…

worth your money. Unique option in the 23mm range

This lens is almost exactly what I expected. I bought it for my Fujifilm x-pro2 and the only complaint is that it doesn't focus as close as I was hoping. This might be my adapter of choice (Fujifilm brand, Leica m to Fuji x), but what I like about it quickly outweighs what I don't like. First, the lens has its own vibe. This is a very small but not very light lens. The build quality and ergonomics look and feel fantastic. This slows me down even more when I'm shooting with it (due to the manual

Very happy with this lens

I have a Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35mm/1.4 and really liked this lens on my Fuji X-Pro3. In this case, however, it essentially works like a 50mm lens. I was looking for another Leica M mount that could get me closer to a true 35mm lens on Fuji. After a long search I decided on this lens. The lens fits perfectly in your hand. This is classic VoigtlΓ€nder quality. soft focus. Satisfactory clicks for the aperture. It is smaller than 35mm/1.4 and fits Fuji with Fuji adapter perfectly. A small hood

Great value 21mm lens for Leica

I am currently selling this lens in favor of the Zeiss 18mm f/4 but I still have a very high opinion of it. very sharp. Center sharpness is excellent even with the aperture wide open at f/4. At f/8 the sharpness across the image is comparable to a 21mm Summilux (which I rented) on a 13x19" print from my Canon PIXMA Pro-100. In contrast to the Summilux, there are practically no violet color fringes. Colored scope. It has great build quality, a small built-in lens hood, and regular 39mm filters…

An amazing lens on film.

Yes limited to f/4 but at this focal length it absorbs light. I have no problem using it for what it was bought for, mostly street and documentary shooting. At f/8 or f/11 the focus range becomes perfect. Install it right and don't worry, you'll be protected from 3ft to infinity. Critical focus gives you even better results, and at f/4 and good distance separation you get nice bokeh. This is fairly distortion free for architecture, but gets even better with a little afterimage correction. The…
