This is not the best 21mm lens available but definitely the best size and price! Throw it in your camera bag and you'll hardly notice. I also didn't like Voigtlander's fixed, non-removable lens hood, in addition to the fact that this lens is much larger and heavier. The bottom line is that I don't need to take pictures with such a focal length. faster than f4, and the low cost of this tiny lens means little risk if I don't like the way it delivers images. So far I like how it works. Yes, there is a slight color spread in the corners, which reduces when I manually set my Leica M10 to the Lecia 21mm lens profile. I also often crop images as 21mm is too wide for me so that takes care of that too.
