Poor production. Probably never checked. The SSD didn't fit. It took me 30 minutes to easily insert it into the slot. The slot looks like it's not of the right dimensions, with a very small defect on the right side. When connected it doesn't read on any of my devices and when I go to manager it gives a fatal hardware error and doesn't even allow me to select a disk for further actions. I suspect this is a manufacturing issue and unfortunately I received a bad one. It's worth noting that I'm an engineer and have repaired countless devices. This is not user error. I have to say I'm very disappointed and upset because I needed this for work ASAP. I think you get what you pay for but the aluminum looked promising and the design is very sleek. Very disappointing.
