This review is unbiased. I researched and bought them myself. I wasn't paid, I didn't get anything for free, I didn't receive any voucher codes and I didn't click on them via an external link. I was specifically looking for Bluetooth headphones with ear hooks as I have always had trouble with headphones getting stuck in my ears. if you work outdoors or lead an active lifestyle. For the average consumer, unless you have a heightened passion for hearing aids, paying more than $100 for headphones is plagiarism. For that matter, the difference in sound quality is likely very small for devices in the $40-$100 range. Thus, the benefit of the device is in the foreground. Here are my thoughts after a few weeks of daily wear: Sound - I'm not an audiophile but I enjoy listening to music, podcasts and audiobooks and I can tell the difference between something that sounds "tinny" and something that is sounds like it's playing through my 1977 Marantz stereo. It's not brilliant, but it's over the top and the vocals and instruments are crisp and clear. You can control the bass boost, which is definitely noticeable. I also like that you can control the volume (by pressing the right button for volume up and the left button for volume down). The volume is also independent of my phone's volume, which I LOVE. Microphone - I didn't make enough calls to really appreciate the quality of the microphones, but those on the other end could hear me clearly with no background noise, even with a 15 mph wind blowing in my face. Communication - Connecting with BT is very easy as they try to do this automatically and it happens very quickly once they are dragged out of the apartment block. However, this can be both good and bad. It's good if you only connect to one device at a time, and bad if you have multiple devices and forget which one it's connected to (personal cell, work cell, tablet, pc) since it's only ever can connect to one device at a time. It seems pretty standard, but it would be ideal if they could connect to at least two different devices. You just plug in the right headphone and the left one will sync with the right one. If you only want to use one headphone, you can connect either the left or right headphone to your device. Since both earphones can be connected separately, you can connect the left one to one device and the right one to another. No matter how you use them, I appreciate being able to adjust them in my ears without taking them off the audio. required size. Whenever you put it back in the case, there are 4 small LED lights on the front that show you how much battery is left. The cases charge via a USB-C cable (short one included) and when plugged in the lights will flash to indicate they're charging based on how much battery is left (25% charge = 1 static light and 3 flashing lights, 50% charge). = 2 steady lights and 2 flashing lights, etc.). The earbuds themselves also have LED indicators to indicate charging or pairing mode. The lid is hinged and has a strong spring that snaps the lid shut if it's not fully open. It's easy enough to open, but the spring tension is strong enough to prevent it from springing open and accidentally staying open when bouncing around in a bag or backpack. The headphones themselves sit very firmly in the case and are also fixed with magnets. I don't understand how they can fall out on their own. others cannot experience. My ears are insanely sensitive and I struggled to find headphones that I could wear for a long time without discomfort. My ears also get sweaty (horrible, I know) and the earbuds, which can usually be comfortable, just pop out unexpectedly. Usually when I'm wearing something and can't put it back on. Obviously there are other people who feel the same way, which is why the engineers developed over-ear loops for us, which would otherwise be denied the use of true wireless headphones. They are snug and comfortable and the loop holds them in place very well. Maybe too good. The loop is flexible enough to slip over the ear, but stiff enough to push the eartip into the ear with such force that the pressure can become too great. The bottom line is that no matter what your activity, they stay in place. They are VERY secure and I would wear them comfortably for watersports or fishing. But for me, after an hour or so, I found that I had to constantly adjust as the pressure they created became an issue. Still, I intend to keep them and just hope my ears can get used to them. noise reduction. Anything you can cram in your ear will offer noise cancellation and these are no different. I think the only advantage of active noise cancellation is that you can open an external microphone to include ambient noise. So if my wife tries to talk to me I can set up ANC instead of pulling out the phone. However, in my experience, it's easier to just pull the headphones out halfway and then put them back in. ANC on other headphones was annoying and didn't always work. If you're looking for headphones that block out outside noise, these are for you. Paying for ANC is a huge waste of money unless you need end-to-end functionality for performance or security. ANC also reduces battery life. Touch Features โ The sensors are quite sensitive and a light touch on the logo is enough to access the features. It's not that easy to have random triggers and your finger has to be in the right place, but I found the controls to be very responsive. Please note that BOTH earbuds must be inserted and paired to use all features. The one on the right is responsible for increasing the volume, moving forward, answering/rejecting a call and turning on/off the device. The one on the left is for volume down, back, voice commands (I haven't used that feature yet, so can't comment on that) and power on/off (yes, they turn on/off independently).
