Obviously RCM and Gelish are the same brand so before buying I was sure it would work on my Gelish system and my RCM colors would work equally well. And so it was. In fact, it's so superior to my regular UV light that I'll never go back. It is clear that it heals faster, but also heavier. I think maybe my lamps got dimmed in my normal UV light. It doesn't look like there's a sensor or anything, so really, how was I supposed to know? grab a tennis ball). Works great. In fact, I like that I don't have to stuff wet nails into a little box because my nails keep bumping into something or somehow find dog hair. Plus it's pretty cool to look at. Gelish Top It Off glows in the light so I can see if I'm missing areas like the tips. Just don't be an idiot like me and apply the top coat while the light is still on. You will ruin the brush. On the plus side, it was cool to see him solidify. Not cool that it cured on my nail. Yes I know. A very stupid moment. I also understand that LED light is still a form of ultraviolet light, so people like me should be aware of that. Luckily it's only 45 seconds per shift (vs. 5 minutes on my old UV!) so it's still not that dangerous.
