Love these sponges! I was looking for a 100% biodegradable sponge that I wouldn't feel guilty throwing away once it's used up and falling apart. Most sponges contain plastic and will stay in landfills forever. As my family and I work to reduce our footprint, we are slowly replacing household items with eco-friendly ones. That being said, "eco-friendly" sometimes unfortunately means it doesn't perform as well as its plastic counterpart. but these. These sponges are amazing! Somehow they last longer than the plastic bottles I've used (much longer for example) and do an excellent job of removing buildup from dishes and cleaning pans. They are very hard at first, which you need to remember. but softened a bit after one or two uses. Try them!
