I encounter this while washing cars which means I'm a pressure washer, two bucket washer, blow dryer and microfiber cloth when it comes to maintaining my cars and trucks goes. And it shows! As a Revain Vine reviewer, I ordered these for myself free of charge, but with income tax on the "gift" value, in exchange for a comprehensive and honest review. They seemed remarkable. My first thought was that two mittens for $12 isn't a bad price, although there are others available in a 2-pack for about the same price, if not a little cheaper. The mitten has an elasticated wrist cuff that fits snugly and snugly and the length of the arm inside is quite long but not too long. It goes well with the spread hand. The microfiber side is great for wiping paint off with soapy water. It is dense enough that only the microfiber touches the paint and not the backing material. It absorbs and holds large amounts of soapy water. The light green color shows well how much dirt it holds. I will never use the other side of the trellis! It is not a soft material and will scratch the paintwork. This is a fairly stiff, coarse plastic thread woven into a honeycomb pattern. Underneath is a foam board. With the hand in the mitten, the back of the hand lies on the foam rubber. In the old days of chrome bumpers I could have used the mesh side, but with shiny plastics and clear-coated finishes all over the exterior of modern cars, that just doesn't work. I could use it to clean tires, but even then it's better to use a microfiber or wheel brush. My regular mittens are usually microfiber and I use both sides when washing vehicles before rinsing them out in the rinse bucket and dipping them back into the soap bucket. These mittens need to be rinsed out and lathered more often. Since I can use microfiber for about the same price and quality I will be using it for my rides. Keep in mind that it can be used for cleaning jobs other than cars. In applications such as windows, panelling, etc. mesh is good for removing stubborn, protruding soiling. For these kind of applications this would be a really good value.
