I'm not a fan of Vietnamese coffee, but we sometimes drink Cafe Dumond coffee and we like it, so we decided to try this new brewing method. They'll provide you with instructions to help you with this, but like everything else, you'll need to adjust the amount of coffee and amount of sweetened condensed milk to suit your personal preference. I bought a very large size and put in about 3 heaping teaspoons of Cafe Dumond and poured maybe 10% of a small can of sweetened condensed milk onto the bottom of the large mug I used and then followed the directions. What comes out after stirring is a kind of creamy espresso that surprisingly brings out the chicory in the coffee. I was afraid it might be bitter, but the sweetened condensed milk makes it very smooth. Very good on ice but strong enough. I'd say a very large size makes two large glasses (provided you fill them with ice beforehand) and even if you drink a lot of coffee you probably only need one large glass, that's how strong it is. So when deciding what size you want, think more about espresso than regular coffee. This is a stunning view of coffee and a testament to the ingenuity of the Vietnamese. You've found a way to brew delicious coffee that doesn't necessarily require reliable refrigeration, disposable filters, or even a lot of storage space for post-brew equipment. It also uses coffee very effectively. It is very easy to clean, everything just rinses off. There are a few parts to clean, but it still won't take long. There are no strange details that are difficult to wash, everything goes very quickly. Easy. On first use you can just say that it's a design that has been refined over time, with no superfluous things, nothing to break or fail, etc. You could probably use this every day until the end of its life use. Your life without wear and tear.
