Review on πŸ‘• IZOD Solid Carbon Heather Heritage by Robert Hardin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good value for money (if you can buy them for a low price).

IZOD has been selling the Heritage Polo range for many years, formerly made in Bangladesh and now in India. The differences between the old and new runs are small; slightly different stitching around the sleeve cuffs and some extra material below the collar line. The shirt is not as heavy as high-quality full knit shirts like the classic Tommy Hilfiger polos, but significantly heavier than, for example. , inexpensive brand polo like Fruit of the Loom. This good mid-weight material combined with the classic semi-skinny fit allows the shirt to fall right over the upper body and stay there. , there was a minimal difference in crop size, with the most obvious change being a 3/4 inch variation in length from shirt to shirt. In my experience, shirts shrink quite a bit after each wash, but I've always managed to *gently* stretch them in certain spots to get them back into my desired fit. Wearing them all day and getting in and out of the car, especially in wet weather, the bottom back half of the shirt fans out, but washing them has restored them for me. The price here at Revain is reasonable, I buy them when I see them in the $15-20 range and they are a great value for me. I've seen them on the list above and I'm just waiting because while it's a good shirt there's no reason to pay more knowing that sooner or later they'll sell for less. If like me you expect to get a NEW item when you buy a new item then take a look at the bag this shirt comes in. From what I've seen on my 6 purchases: A NEW IZOD Heritage polo shirt purchased through Revain (ie genuinely new, not previously worn, returned or opened and considered 'new') comes neatly in a clear plastic bag taped with tape folded in quarters . If yours accidentally ended up in an open pocket, you might be wondering why.
