Revainrating 1 out of 5

The product is terrible, much below my expectations.

As gamer's ears are tolerable, but for music they are very bad. Yes - yes, low ones are not the main thing and everything else, but you must admit that it is still more pleasant with them than without them. I took them for 2900 at discounts on 112022, it’s still badly poor, but I don’t recommend it at all for a big price. But comfortable and pleasant, yes, do not take away 04/16/20 After almost half a year of use, I am lowering the overall rating from 2 * to 1 * due to the build quality of the ears, they are simply disgusting. I thought that the wire would not survive first because of its thinness, I handled it carefully, never dropped it or somehow used it roughly and . At about 4 months of careful operation, the plastic at the top point simply broke, I had to fill it with cyanoacrylate (Moment-glue) with soda, which made the connection stronger than the original plastic. And literally today, the fastening of the soft pads under the rubber band came off (It is difficult to explain, see photo), they were held on by glue, but it seems that because of the greed of the glue manufacturer there is a molecular layer, which is surprising how it did not come off earlier. And by the way, the wire is still alive, which is surprising, but I still do not give it more than 6-8 months of life. And if we consider that in connection with recent world events, the price of these ears has increased even more, the conclusion is obvious: DO NOT buy them

Pros
  • ++ General design. Not the most standard solution with adjusting the height/width of the bowls by stretching the elastic band (Above, under the plastic rim) makes them comfortable on any head and practically does not leave a "saddle" in the hair during long use. ++ Replaceable cable. Initially, there are two of them, one is shorter (for telephone connection), the second is longer with a flexible microphone and a separate 3.5. + The cups themselves are D-shaped and completely cover the ears without much pressure. Even with prolonged use (5+ hours), although discomfort is present, it is quite tolerable
Cons
  • - Sound. Just disgusting. I expected much more from koss. Highs/mids are still quite normal, but it feels like there are no lows at all. Even two times cheaper plantronics audio 355 (my past ears) give out significantly more. - Microphone. A miracle does not happen, as with all headphones cheaper than 8 thousand, forget about it. Very quiet - The cable, although removable, is extremely thin. It won’t survive even a couple of months of active use, which means that the microphone will also be replaced, even if it’s bad, but if there are at least something alternatives. And if there is no desire to steam with soldering and rearranging it to a new cable, you will have to throw it away
