I'm reviewing a heavy duty 4 tier Rubbermaid wire shelving unit. I have only used Rubbermaid food storage products and they are excellent quality. I expected the same quality from this shelf but got a very cheap product. The construction process took much longer than it should have. The screws that hold everything together are very small. All the pieces don't fit together perfectly, so there are gaps between the shelves and the frame. Once assembled, the shelf doesn't feel solid at all. I definitely wouldn't call it a heavy duty shelf, at least it's comparable to the cheap shelf you would get for a college dorm. The metal used for the entire shelf is very thin and feels cheap. I wouldn't put more than a few pounds on each shelf. I can't find any reason for anyone to buy this shelf.
