I have a pair of shoeless Suffolk Punchers that have cracked badly in the hot, dry weather this summer. After applying hoof oil three times a week for six weeks, I saw a dramatic reduction in cracking by the next visit to the farrier. I'm on my second bottle and continue to apply the oil 3 times a week. The next blacksmith visit is coming up and the hooves still look great. Works much better than the heavy hoof wraps I've used in the past. And I've had no problems with vegetable oils in the product coloring concrete.
