Very pleased with this jack especially as Revain shipped it to Kauai for free. Impress with the ease of installation and overall looks. Update - 12/02/19 - I was happy with the lift but it pushed the CV-joint axle to its maximum limit. The tire size hasn't changed as the tire-to-wheel ratio has stayed the same.First, the original CV-joint anthers were torn, and I thought this was due to natural wear.It was spraying grease all over under the wing.So I bought new CV axles from a local dealership and installed them.Less than a month later (no 4WD) after I had all the grease off When I removed the first incident, there was new grease everywhere on both sides again. The dust bags on the CV-propeller shaft were torn again. I drive 95% on the freeway. Z At that point, I didn't know that the cause of the problem was a high tilt angle of the CV joint axis. Went to my auto shop to tell them the CV dust boots broke again and they replaced both axles under warranty. Uninstall and reinstall the second new set for the third time. The third time, the CV boots snapped again. WTF! Before attempting this procedure again, set up a set of CV loaders to find out what the problem is. I took the truck to the off-road shop and diagnosed the problem in less than a minute: too much angle on the CV joint axis causing the anthers to crack. great, now what? The suggestion is to go back to stock height or purchase a jack with components that hold the CV-joint axle at OEM angles. I do not recommend this elevator with an unresolved issue unless Skyjacker has resolved the issue.
