I bought one of these and couldn't get it to work. I rechecked the TV's input to make sure it was working and rechecked the PC's output to make sure it was also working, so the problem must be a faulty adapter cable. So I ordered a second one. When he arrived he wasn't working either. In order to solve this problem as quickly as possible, I bought a different brand of adapter from Staples, brought it home and plugged it in. It worked great without having to make any changes to the TV or PC.
