I bought this rig to mount on a trailer to tow behind my RV. I placed a camera in the front to watch the hitch and one in the back to watch the rear. I wanted the recording function to work like a "DVR". I also really wanted two more cameras for the sites, which the company said would be coming soon. I installed the items which were pretty easy. The range on them is fantastic, so much so that I'm about 100 meters from the trailer in my van and can see the cameras from here. I have a request to the seller as the monitor seems to support sound from the cameras but I am not getting it. Now the only downside I found is the camera angle. Firstly, the camera's overall picture is quite narrow, whereas a wide angle would be much better for this type of use. Second, the camera I installed above the hitch needs to be offset from the center of the body. The body is centered and points directly at the coupler, but you will notice that the coupler is not centered in the picture. The first point is quite disappointing for me as I don't get the desired field of view and the second point is very low. Those two items aside, this seems like a good product. Edit: I got the antenna mod from them very quickly! This is a new antenna base that allows you to move the antenna to a more convenient location.
