Review on Classic 8 Panel Wool Blend 🧢 Ivy Hat for Men - 2-Pack Newsboy Hats by Kyle Smernes

I would give this hat 2 1/2 stars if possible but after much deliberation I decided 2 was more deserving than 3.The hats themselves were of not terrible quality. Much to what you would expect at 10 dollars a piece. Not too warm for perhaps fall or spring. definitely not feeling like wool for a winter hat.My largest disappointment however came with the overall shape of the hat. It had no body, it had no height. The way the hat is shaped and the panels that comprise it, you would think "newsboy" cap. However once you put it on the width doesn't match the length causing the front to pull out and the top to lay flatter, giving the appearance of a flat cap or driver cap instead. The weird thing about the flat cap aspect of it is the large squatchee that sits atop.which is the button on most hats.I own several flat caps and one of the characteristics is the lack of a squatchee causing the hat to lay flat and at an angle towards the brim, this the name flat cap.So I am alittle torn about this hat, I like the construction of it well enough, the herringbone design is nice, just don't know if I can confidently wear it as a flat cap when it has so much of a newsboy look.It's something to consider when making this purchase, and maybe if your head is super small it wouldn't even make a difference. I wear a size large generally so perhaps if you're a smaller circumference it would pillow up a bit more, it's up to you to choose that risk or not
