This works well enough. Included in the box was a USB charger and cheap headphones. This is by no means a modern recorder, but for $20 it does the job. It has clarity, which is very important, especially if, like me, you're recording lectures in class. I have to move the recorder closer to the lecturer because he doesn't hear any sound from afar. I record 4 hour talks and when I play them back and want to miss something, it takes me FOREVER to fast forward to where I want to be. This is where I found I can't download files to my computer. So for a normal, nothing special, recorder is enough. However, I will buy something of higher quality.
