Review on πŸ”Š Powerful 200W Bluetooth 5.0 Amplifier Board TPA3116 with High Fidelity Stereo, LC Filter for Clear Audio - YEMIUGO by Mick Ohlrogge

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Make no mistake when using Bluetooth. For 3.5mm you can find better options

So you want this tiny amp for your studio/office monitors? Make sure you have a good X-Over! Deceived by the size, I plugged it into a pair of small home theater speakers I had at home. It sounded good at lower volumes but started to distort. my fault. too small speaker, which depended on insults. Okay, on to larger mid-range speakers with two 5.25-inch speakers. IMPRESSIVE! Good and clear sound and good response in all octaves. This is NOT an audiophile product. But whatever, it sounds damn good! Hooked up my Klipsch ceiling speakers and they sound fantastic. This little amp puts out enough power to drive your speakers really deep and even reach the floor if you're not careful. I hooked them up to bigger speakers. And in an empty house so that the wife does not complain. This tiny amp fed my tower network color and lots of bass. That's when I realized that my 24V @ 2A power supply just wasn't enough. Maybe 5A to fully power it is better for this little beast. up to 4 stars. With bluetooth this is a solid 5 star product. Although, as already mentioned, the sound is completely different when using a mini-banana 3.5 plug. I've found that you lose the top half of the last octave (treble) when using a 3.5mm plug. The sound is a bit muffled and you don't get cymbal detail and vocal treble. If you go back to Bluetooth, this problem will go away. I bought another amplifier (Clyxgs TPA3116D2 2.1 Digital Power Amplifier Board 2 x 80W + 100W (Bass) Audio Stereo Amplifier Module for 12-26V Speaker DIY Audio System) the same day I bought this one, which has its disadvantages. Comparing side by side this amp (Yemiugo) has deeper bass in the 40-50 range but as described there is no treble on the 3.5mm speaker. The Clyxgs have great highs, but the lows aren't as powerful as this little amp. However, Clyxgs has a third channel used only for bass, which fully compensates for the lack of low frequencies on the main outputs. I'll keep updating as I go through.
