I know you need a home office chair. I need a new one, but you don't want that. I was won over by the promise of a 5 year guarantee, I figured one mesh back chair made in China would be just as good as the other. The best thing about this chair is that they laid out the parts like IKEA did and it was easy to put together. Honestly, this is a comfortable chair when you let go of the backrest and sit back; I'm 5ft 9" and at its highest point, the headrest is in the perfect position behind my neck and head. But that's not what I bought this chair for, it's supposed to be one that I'll be sitting on at work 7-10 hours a day, but I'm going to do physical therapy on this chair for a week! Here's my laundry list: 1. I wasn't able to complete the assembly properly due to a poorly checked screw (see image). When a defective screw goes through quality control, what else are you missing? The lumbar support is not very supportive and has very limited adjustment. You can't recline the back of the chair (front to back), so you have to push your butt all the way back to even feel the mesh back and "lumbar" support. Very bad design because in this position I push off the keyboard.3. A "toggle button" that controls tension when you release and recline the seatback. Be careful this is a very weak spring and if you have a bit of mass on your shoulders you can accelerate backwards too quickly and tip over (yes I cranked it down). The lower point of the armrests is too high, it may touch the edge of the table.5. Other reviews that the pillow is too hard are correct. My butt and lower back started going numb within 15 minutes of sitting in this chair. (If I put a pillow on a chair, I'm too tall for my desk/keyboard). As my other chair has expired I need to keep this one so will be updating it in about a month.
