Review on ๐Ÿšด Schwinn Echo and Trailblazer Child Bike Trailer: Single & Double Baby Carrier, Canopy, 16-20" Wheels by Rich Schobinger

Perfect fit for my e-bike!

My only regret is that I didn't purchase this trailer sooner - my little one loves to ride her bike and Schwinn has made it easier and safer to keep the wind in our hair. This trailer is solid and doesn't affect how I drive, I just have to be careful of the width because we have more space now. I have an e-bike (Rad City Step Thru 3 by Rad Power Bikes) and my toddler originally sat in the Thule Yepp, which was a rear child seat that placed the center of gravity uncomfortably high for me. My husband had no problems with the baby but I'm a bad counterweight and we fell more times than I care to admit because the weight was unnaturally large and too heavy for me - go to a trailer shop - not just for weights and counterweights , but for the safety of my child. I was won over by reviewers who assured me that the trailer would remain stable if the guide wheel fell over, I also liked the apparent ease of inserting and removing a child, and just felt like I could trust Schwinn. So I hope this review will also help other little riders who don't like their Thule Yepp. ASSEMBLY - The pendant was easily assembled in about 20 minutes. The only part that didn't fit my bike was that we had to replace the hub nut because the one that came with the trailer had an unexpected flange. My nearest local hardware store had what I needed for $0.40. After a test flight with an empty trailer I loaded the baby (big toddler) up and off we went on our first trip - it was a success! STORAGE - Rear storage is a big plus. I've shared a photo of a standard gallon jug for size reference. Note that the only fixed part of the trailer is the baby seat, so the sample jar lay unsupported in the hammock. Heavy objects will be centered and can stretch the fabric over time. This is ideal for transporting light items such as picnic supplies, emergency diapers and light jackets. REAR REFLECTOR - The Trailblazer for a kid has a tiny reflector on the bottom left, so I attached a reflective tape to the frame for extra visibility. We don't ski often at night, but those short winter days are still good for skiing. This harness does not interfere with rear access or other canopy functions. SPEED. Note that it is recommended that the trailer DO NOT exceed 10mph. so we will learn to travel more slowly. TL; DR Buy a trailer. It is easy to assemble, spacious and comfortable to look at. Great e-bike companion with little conversion ๐Ÿšฒ
