This version of my favorite Thorios Max Cushion Socks is a size 180 compared to the white Max Cushion hiking socks. The material of hiking socks looks as if they are made of a very coarse fiber that does not relax when worn. I felt like the goat head stickers in my socks would bother me all day. Also, unlike the white Thorios hiking socks, they were too tight even before washing, leaving marks on the legs showing the fabric of the sock and, worse, the upper indentation in the calf. This does not apply to White Walking Torio. I have to say that I have very sensitive skin so my answer shouldn't rule it out for others.
