My dog has grown up, he has poor eyesight and hearing and I was afraid he might get lost in the woods. I live in a cabin on 24 acres in a very rural area full of junipers and pines. The view is restricted. She can always go outside through her dog door if she wants to potty and sniff (to be a dog) and in that sense she's used to being independent. I tried several tracking solutions but none of them worked. The previous one I tried couldn't find it when it was within 50 feet and I could see it. Hoping that I would find a working solution, I decided to buy Eureka Technology's MARCOPOLO system and give it a try. Finally something that works 100%! It always leads me straight to her. I feel more comfortable when I can allow her to continue to be independent and freely enjoy the great outdoors. I can't find her if she loses her bearings. on one charge when the description says it should last up to six weeks on a single charge. Regardless, it works great when charged. If it falls off completely, I'll report back.
