After about three months, I noticed that three of the containers were peeling chips. Only now did I find out what was going on. The heat cycles of washing in the dishwasher flake off the shavings, turning them into obsidian circles of vengeance. I'm writing this review with one hand because I cut my pinky on my right hand while taking one of these things out of the washing machine. Heed my warning and save yourself. Buy other glassware. These things are a festering pile of shit (assuming the shit is in the shape of a bowl). Serious. Do not buy this set. This is a security risk. Definitely nothing for families with children.
