The trunk of my Venza was opened in the port of the car and fell from a gust of wind. Then it didn't last anymore so I took a chance and bought them knowing they could go bad. Installation is easy for those familiar with the type of connection. For safety reasons it is recommended that 2 people do this. I feel like I saved hundreds of dollars by fixing this myself instead of going to a dealer.
