Review on 🪢 Dreambaby Blind Cord Wind-ups – Curtain Safety Wraps for Hanging Window Strings – T937 Model (Pack of 8) by Sung Shorunov

I bought this item to fix the cords of the blinds in the children's room. What I love about it is the simple and functional design and the fact that I don't have to drill holes in the walls to attach the cables. What I didn't like is that it doesn't hold a lot of cord. My cords are a standard length of about 4 feet and when I turned around to fit this unit I had about a foot of cord left. I solved this problem by cutting about 2 feet of the cable and trimming the cable first before attaching it to this unit. Once I did that I was able to secure the entire cord up to the top of the window. Several reviews said that they must first unplug this device in order to open the blinds. This was not my experience. I can open the blinds without interrupting the process of twisting and fixing the cable in this device. As a side note; I first looked for this type of product in several stores and found that the new curtains/blinds come without cords and are touch based for obvious safety reasons. My kids are very young and while this device works, when they grow up I will think about switching the shades to a new technology. Just a note to readers if they are unfamiliar with this option as this was new to me.
