Review on ๐Ÿƒ BALEAF Men's 5-Inch Running Shorts with Zipper Pocket by Jorge Bryant

Revainrating 4 out of 5

lightweight and very comfortable

When researching running shorts, I came across recommendations from Revain. Brand name doesn't matter to me as long as it has side pockets, an extra zip pocket and quality/comfort. Certainly within budget. After researching this brand/company, this is a fairly new company making athletic wear from California. I decided to give it a try. Here's my fit breakdown - as expected I'm 5'9, 190lbs and waist 36. The large sizing was spot on with enough room to save where it's not too baggy/loose. Quality - the outer fabric feels very soft even when running and sweating outside. Doesn't stick to the skin at all. It's thin but feels strong. If it weren't for the inner mesh briefs I would have easily forgotten I was wearing them. Speaking of inner mesh briefs, mine was white (same was the drawstring) and my shorts were navy blue. Externally it can't be like that, but maybe it would be better if it was the same color? The briefs didn't ride up or feel uncomfortable on my long run. The side pocket is big enough and deep enough to hold a large phone (6.5 inch) but feels like things could fall out. Additional zippered pocket - located in the middle of the back of the trousers. , it's big enough to attach keys, wallet/money and energy gel packs BUT doesn't fit my phone. "The inseam was just the right length for me. It sits about 2 inches from the knee for good flexibility and no resistance when running. So far I've washed it twice and worn it once for a 10 mile run. So far so far It has held up but can't comment on the reflection of the brand name on the lower left thigh. It appears to be printed and may fall/fray after repeated washing.Overall satisfied but only time will tell if the stitching and quality will hold up get up after prolonged use.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
