I find this absolutely essential when making steel braided line. I made some stainless steel lines for my race car. At first I just couldn't connect the SS line to the AN fittings. That made it not only easy, but also possible. Please note that the fittings are REVERSE THREADED. When screwing the hose into the fitting, it turns counter-clockwise, not clockwise!
