This worked for about 1 month then the laser just stoppec working. Prior to that, it skipped like crazy, even though it comes with anti-skip protection. At the gym, I would place my cd player in the pouch of my hoodie while I lifted weights, and it skipped constantly. It never made it through a single song. Even when I would sit down and do curls, trying to move my midsection as little as possible, it skipped constantly. Then it escalated to just cutting off in the middle of the song. The batteries were brand new, name brand, and the picture showed that the battery power was full, yet it still cut off. Also, when the song would cut off, you could clearly see that the disc was still spinning. This happened multiple times with brand new cd's! Eventually, it just stopped working. This cd player is better for a child or elderly person who will barely use it, never move with it, and problably just play the same cd over and over again. DO NOT BUY THIS CD PLAYER! You've been warned.
