Great fan, versatile power options

I'll go into the handy power options below, but since it's primarily a fan let me start with that and I have a positive impression. The CYBERDAX 14-inch Portable Cordless Rechargeable Desk Fan moves air just the way I want a desk fan to move, and quietly creates everything from a gentle breeze to a not-quite-gale force wind, with no rumble, tremor or noticeable engine noise. At lower speeds, the fan runs almost silently, but blows a pleasant column of air that can be felt at a distance of two to two meters. At higher speeds, the sound of moving air dominates, and the breeze can be easily felt throughout the room. When used outdoors the range of the fan will of course depend on natural air movement, but running the fan at a low speed on one end of the picnic table will keep insects away from the entire table and that is the fact that it is battery powered. was particularly important. useful. For example, this fan can prevent the air in a tent or RV from stagnating at night, or provide campers with a cool breeze on a hot, still day without the need for cables or an external power source. This feature can also be extremely useful during power outages or when there are intentional power outages. Batteries are built into the fan motor housing, making it a self-contained unit. The display on the case shows the battery status and the fan speed; The batteries are rated for four to ten hours on a full charge, depending on fan speed and ambient temperature, and are not easy to swap out. The "carry handle" loop is useless for this purpose - I added a simple wire handle to carry the fan. The base is highly adjustable to allow the fan to be guided in a 130° arc and can also be used to hang the fan on a wall, branch, etc. anywhere there is sunlight or even bright artificial light. Solar charge times will of course vary depending on how bright the sun (or other light source) is shining, but on all but the darkest of days the fan should charge enough for at least a few hours of use. I haven't been able to test whether using the solar panel in a sunny location will extend battery life with the fan running, but it seems likely. We are very pleased with this fan and look forward to using it regularly in applications and situations where battery operation and solar charging are particularly warranted.
