Review on Plantronics Explorer 500: Sleek Black Bluetooth Headset, Model 203621-05 by Stanislaw Wawrzynowi ᠌

Good product, I recommend that you try it.

The headset is like a headset, it works fine, what else do you need? Although with such a set of functions and characteristics there are half the price of models from Sony and Samsung, I took Plt only because I liked the previous one. I won’t say anything about reliability yet, I bought it only a month ago Its pros: Well put together, nothing to complain about. The sound is good for a mono headset, although not without flaws (see below). Management is convenient. You stop feeling it on your ear after some getting used to, even taking into account the fact that I wear it with a headband and wear glasses. Before that, not a single headset managed to become "invisible" on my ear when worn with a bow - and I had a dozen and a half of them, of different brands. All in all, a good value for money purchase, although not without compromises. Has some cons: Before that, there was Plantronics Explorer 110 - in terms of design, button ergonomics and materials, it was more interesting, although it was a "younger" model. Speaker at max. volume may slightly wheeze / rattle. I didn’t find any alternative size ear cushions in the kit, I have to wear it with a bow. 110 had 3 sizes. I did not find how to turn off the voice notification headset, the usual "beeps" would be more convenient, IMHO. The plantronics application on the phone offers as many as 0 settings for this model)) why it is needed at all then - it is not clear. Included charging only under the car, it would be better, on the contrary, under the outlet. 7 hours when fully charged is not enough, in fact even less. "Gills" hold longer.
