I used this condenser to repair a Minka Aire Concept II ceiling fan. My fan spins at a very low speed. It didn't shift to medium or high speeds. The light worked. After explaining these symptoms, a real Minka Aire technician told me I needed to order a new receiver AND a new condenser/reverse module. I went online and saw prices for the receiver in the $40 range. The capacitor I was told I needed was listed at some online retailers for about $75. Unbelievable! I decided to dig deeper and found I could bypass the receiver to see if the receiver really had blown. It turned out that the problem was only in the capacitor. So I ordered this condenser, installed it and my PRESTO van runs like new! I hope this review saves some money for other people with a similar problem. Just because you call a manufacturer and speak to a technician doesn't mean they're a real expert. Luckily I discovered this before I spent a lot of money.
