Much nicer than lacquer
I have 110 year old pine and spruce floors and didn't want the glossy plastic finish to look like wood. This Osmo finish is easy to apply, accentuates the natural beauty of different types of wood and gives the surface a pleasant sheen. I was a bit concerned once the first coat was dry as it looked a little stained due to the different absorbency of the grains in the wood. But after the second coat, my pine and spruce were almost 100% covered, but I had to touch up a bit in places. I am very satisfied with the workmanship and recommend the product not only for floors but also for other woodwork.
