Revainrating 4 out of 5

Damn Star Rating System

Honestly I don't understand why Revane doesn't just let me use half a star. Grrr 😑 Anyway I would do four and a half if I could. I'm an instrumentalist. I was a machinist and then managed production in the aerospace industry my entire career until my retirement. I know metal and instruments. I have a big Chevy Silverado and we drive a small camper in the summer. I'm ashamed to admit I had a really crappy Harbor Freight wrench in my truck. Up to this day - fortunately at home - I have tried to remove one of the wheels from the camper. The key is really bent. I don't mean an easy bend, I'm talking 20 degrees! To hell with this nonsense. It went straight into the trash and I came looking for a real tool. After my usual exhaustive research I settled on this guy. I don't regret it. quality steel. Since I still have friends in the industry, I ran to my friend's store and put him on a Rockwell hardness tester. That's 58 points on the "C scale”. Very complicated. Laser straight waves. Carefully crafted sockets. My only complaint is that they did a poor job of removing excess slag from the central area. I speak of a few spots that would hurt me. It's unforgivable. star value. But overall a great tool. Yes, that's five times as expensive as cheap Chinese junk. Quality always costs more. Always cost you cheap. I hate cheap instruments and above all I hate cheap Chinese junk. Made in USA πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ God I love this country! Highly Recommended Thank you for reading
