This is a good product if used quickly once opened so I gave it no star. However, it is very disappointing when you use this material later and the lid is broken. Look at the picture. I believe the manufacturer designs these caps to tear and the material will degrade so you need to stop what you are doing and buy more. Put simply, when business and consumer interests diverge and enough time has passed since the purchase, people have forgotten or lost interest and the manufacturer wins. That's a good deal. I'm sorry but I want my money. This is my good deal. I didn't even use half the tube and now because of the broken cap on the side I have to cut it open to get to the dry part on top so everything else is ruined now. Again, this is good business. I ask Permatex to provide me with a cap strong enough for me to squeeze it firmly with my fingers so that I can use it next time. I'm not talking about stress. I'm talking about pushing it down just enough that I think I'll seal it next time. I'm not asking the manufacturer to spend even a dime extra so I don't have to delay my project because I either have to use up the fuel and time going to the store or keep delaying and ordering it. Please provide a decent cap for the tube of the product you are selling me so I can keep what I have bought from you for next time use. Am I asking that much?
