This halo strap is very comfortable to wear. I used to have forehead and cheek pain with the original Quest 2 strap, but it puts more pressure on my head, and you can pull the back of the strap down at the back to take some pressure off your neck. Spring. Overall, the headset feels more balanced on my head with this strap. I didn't use the top strap because I didn't find it necessary. I don't play active games though, so you might need this if you're more of a VR navigator. The build quality is good, the pads are soft, after an hour of wearing them I don't feel plastic. This allows me to use the quest for much longer before feeling the need to take a break from the weight of the device. I highly recommend this if you are worried about the original tape!
