The hole appeared after washing and trying on
This balaclava is made of fleece. I bought it for my kids to wear on a ski trip. It sits well on the head and appears to be of good thickness. However, we washed it before the trip (to reduce the smell) and after that my son noticed a hole on his head. As the hole appeared after we washed them once (and didn't use them much) I'm not sure they will last long.
- They are perfect for my 5 and 8 year olds. They get hot in them, so put them on when it gets really cold!
- It may not provide enough warmth in extremely cold weather conditions.
