This is a replacement filter for all Eureka vacuums that use HF-7 filters. Exactly the same product as that came with the vacuum cleaner. I've noticed a loss of suction in my vacuum and realized that my filter needs to be replaced. After the replacement, the vacuum cleaner worked like new. Make sure you follow the manufacturer's replacement schedule for best performance and make sure you check all filters on your vacuum. I have two filters in addition to the foam filter that fits on top of one of these filters. There is also a small yellow plastic filter cup on top of the distal chamber that is removable and requires periodic cleaning to ensure proper suction. In short: follow the instructions in the user manual and change/clean the filters as planned and your vacuum cleaner will work better! I would guess that they are almost always reliable. Otherwise you would see more negativity!
