I sweat. I typically spend $40-$60 on bar tape to find the perfect combo of sticky/tacky and soft/comfortable. I recently found out that the Bontrager Pro Tape was the best I found for $49. I needed to replace my bar tape and decided to grab a flyer and order Marque Pro Bike bar tape for $22.99. After installation and 200 miles in the saddle I would say this is the best bar tape I have ever wrapped around a bar. The pad is perfect and the stickiness of the tape is perfect for the sweatiest of days on the bike. I haven't worried about my hands slipping off the bars and when I stand up and put my hands on the top of the bars the cushion is precisely. Store and will be ordering Marque bar tape in the future.
