Not fully compatible with USB-PD

First the good things about this product. The charger came with a USB-A to USB-C adapter and a USB-A to USB-C car charger. The USB-A car charger is advertised as Quick Charge 3.0. I assume this is because the voltage dropped to 9V when plugged in. The Type-C connector, I'm guessing it's a USB PD, rose to 9V when plugged in. Now for the bad. Even though the product is said to have a dual coil, I still had to position the phone in a very specific area to initiate wireless charging. A charger claiming to be compatible with USB-PD will only work with the charger that came with it. When using 4 different USB PD chargers, none switched to a voltage other than 5V. The charger did not provide enough current to fully charge the Pixel 3 in 1 hour on the go. This isn't a charger malfunction of course, the Pixel 3 charges at a maximum of 5W with most Qi chargers, not to mention the Pixel 3 was connected to an Android Auto wireless deck during the commute. The charger is a bit thicker than expected, but it fits the console snugly. All in all, if you can live with the thickness, the very specific region your phone charges in, and USB PD only works with the included charger, then get this product.

Pros
  • WIRELESS CHARGER. For a wireless charging pad to quickly charge your smartphone, CarQiWireless provides a fast charger with a 9V/2A fast charge port. 7.5W fast charge for iPhone or 10W for Android (fast charge is NOT supported by Google Pixel series phones, z Pixel 2/3/4 XL). We test this by plugging it into a QC 3.0 fast charge port. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
