Caution! The thickness of the two flanges (where the mounting holes are located) on this water pump may differ from the thickness of the original pump on your car! Check carefully before installation! The mounting bolts on my machine are different lengths and will not work with this pump. I had to go to the hardware store to get usable screws. An annoying distraction. I installed this pump in my 2002 Chevy Prizm (basically the same car as the Corolla, search). It has the same engine as the Corolla. The rest of the pump is of good quality and works perfectly.
