Review on 🏍️ VSYSTO Motorcycle Dash Cam: Waterproof, 160° Fish Eye, Dual Full HD 1080P Cameras, Night Vision Recorder with 2'' Screen by John Ghattamaraju

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is my fourth motorcycle DVR/DVD and by far the best.

I bought 3 camera systems before this system and they all had serious failures. This system has proven to be reliable and by far the best. Consumed electricity. Previous systems used significant power when the system had to be powered down. They all have a direct connection to the battery via a "signal" wire which is connected to an auxiliary wire (disconnected when the ignition is off) to signal the system to shut down. This system shuts down gracefully and minimizes power consumption. It's nice to remember to turn the system on when you go for a walk. I would still recommend using the disconnect switch if you intend to park for more than a few days. Opinion: 160 degrees definitely collects a lot of information while driving. It's bordering on a fisheye, but still handy for uploading and creating driving videos later. I use 1080p for both the front and back cameras and get around 97% capture reliability. A small portion of the video is lost, which is to be expected with any storage system using MicroSD cards. Tip: The better the SD card, the more secure the recording. night vision is good. The rear camera sees a lot of headlight glare. Again what to expect. Vibration: My cameras are mounted on my Yamaha R1M as shown in the photos, with reasonably stable footage. Color and clarity are excellent. Installation: I installed my system on my Yamaha R1M which I think is one of the toughest bikes on the market due to the space and ease of access. The hardest part was finding a good "accessory" cable for the system control (on/off) signal. I also installed a permanent parking switch with a fuse. The DVR was installed on the left side as shown in my photos. Definitely useless as a reversing image due to the size. Mirrors are still the best option. It took me about 2.5 hours to install. There were many mounting and wiring options in the package. For my setup I have to install a lot of additional things. Overall Impression: Five stars, easy installation, reliable and thoughtless performance, great brains in a world full of crazy drivers.
