Review on πŸͺ‘ Hillsdale Furniture Dundee Swivel Bar Stool in Dark Coffee - Stylish Seating for a Classy Bar Experience by Anna Lee

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm a 450 pound man who has bought a dozen chairs.

I'm a "fat Norwegian" at 450lbs and have bought many chairs and to my disappointment they have all failed me but listen carefully because this one almost got me in too Abandoned. My whole family of 10 is huge, that's how God made us, and the public doesn't make chairs for us - which will stand the test of time or which can fail and take us to the brink of death in an ambulance or emergency room. We're not necessarily fat, but we're BIG Norwegians. Once again I dutifully followed the (pretty good) writing instructions when assembling this (Hillsdale Furniture Dundee Swivel Bar Stool, Dark Coffee). The job is done and it seems to be good. The seat is large, round, wide and strong, and the backrest is high, comfortable and strong. We're talking really tough conditions here, and now I'm going to tell you how to make sure this one doesn't go down like everyone else. After a week of reassembling according to the instructions, it began to fall apart at the attachment points where it was originally bolted. . I move, lean, wiggle, wobble, slide, and move my chairs, and when they're a piece of shit, it shows quickly. This chair swivels left and right and is amazingly durable. Here are two things you need to do to make this chair YOUR champion: First, use RED sealant when assembling this chair, since the blue crap they put on the screws at the factory is junk. Spend a few bucks on a good RED Lock-Tite ---- and it'll be in my book. Second: Glue the plastic inserts to the bottom of the legs with epoxy or even hot glue or they will quickly disappear and WILL NOT protect your floor. There are 4 of them and id is quite simple and easy to use. Install them by inserting them and hitting them with a hammer or something to "set" them. Then pull it out again, glue it with hot glue and put it back in. I love this forum because it protects us all from scams and allows us all to get an honest and free diagnosis on the products we buy.
