I have lots of Commodore 64s, Amigas and new variants like the C64 Reloaded Mk2 and the awesome Ultimate64 Elite which has USB built in and can boot disk images off a flash drive I want something out of a $200 board that has been shipped to me from Europe for over 6 months and could potentially damage it and completely damage the port or the system, so I bought this 16GB ultra slim USB drive. flash drive and can leave it permanently connected to the system without fear of breaking or tearing anything. That's not much by today's standards, but for a 40-year-old computer whose disk images were 170-180 kilobytes each, that's plenty of system memory for years to come. Depending on what the Commander X16 looks like, I might pick a different one for it (as long as it has a USB port). As someone who bites my nails, I often use small pliers to pry it out of the USB port. Ha!
