I needed to assemble a Z axis mount for my 3D printer and while I could have gotten a rough rod from a hardware store I wanted to decorate it. It is very cheap and the quality is very good. It's nice and bright right out of the box. The packaging is the only problem and the problem isn't with the product but with how Revain packages it. They put it in a large box with some sheets of paper, no bubble wrap on the end of the pole so it will most likely pierce the box like it did with my first order. Luckily they sent a replacement for their money but make sure you check your package asap if you need a replacement.
