Exactly as advertised. Charging speeds are consistent and the right-angle connector is good for both durability and comfort, especially when propping your phone up on your bed or stomach/knees. The length of the plug is also good: at least with a decent amount of free space around the connection, that's not a problem. For something like a controller, you should definitely use regular cables. The right angle puts the cable right in the path of the triggers, but that's simply due to the shape of the connector.
