It shines and that's it until the coating wears off. The large main ring in the photos on the order page looks great until you open the small box (wtf?). I am very very disappointed with how this ring looks on my wife's hand. We have 5 kids and a lot of work so we ordered this ring to wear at home and at work. If it gets bad we don't care, the stone is so big it's embarrassing and she will NEVER wear it anywhere. i am public You can easily tell it's fake from a mile away. We were hoping for something more discreet than what we saw in the photos. I had to trust my intuition and listen to the negative reviews because the negative reviews are 100 percent accurate. I am amazed to see anyone give this item more than one star and even more shocked when people say they love it and that it is beautiful. I'll figure out how to get this Halloween costume back once I hit submit on my review. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON IT!
